ELT (English language) teacher

My name is Lela and I am a certified ELT teacher with an experience of teaching English as a foreign language since 2010 in Georgia and Italy. I have taught students of various age starting from elementary school children, to teenagers and adults in groups as well as individually in one-to-one classes. While following the curriculum, class material is permanently adopted to the requirements and interests of groups and particularly individual students in order to meet their expectations. The material is a combination of coursebook and updated online resources so the content is engaging apart from being informative language-wise for students.
A lot of adult students prefer to practise only their speaking skills for their personal interests and work, such as travelling, or having business meetings. However, those students who need to prepare for their exams have to work on all the language skills assessed at their exams.
I am usually described as a patient and friendly teacher, but what I would like to outline is that having worked with students in and outside language centres for some time, it certainly makes me feel happy to see happy students who show their interest and enthusiasm so that we help and inspire each other during and after classes. I have great memories of those moments and would love to share my experience with you here on this platform as well, to develop your interest for this language and help attain your goals.
