I’m Sophie Berry- culturally curious with a strong background in marketing, branding, and international studies.

I am a native English speaker with a professional background in marketing, branding, and communications. I have experience working with international teams and clients, which has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly and adapt my language to different levels and learning styles. Not only that, but I studied International Business + Chinese, and am now studying French- so you could say I have a bit of an international background. My lessons would be interactive and tailored to reach each student’s goals. I would hope my students would look to me as a friend as well, so they feel comfortable enough to ask the questions that may feel "dumb". I know what it's like learning a new language- and I'd love to help out the way I can, that my teachers couldn't. We would focus on real-life English through conversation, vocabulary building, listening exercises, and light grammar practice. I am a very social and relatable person, which makes it easy for me to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. I would quickly build a comfortable, friendly rapport with students, helping them feel at ease and confident using English.
