English Mother Tongue Teacher, TESOL/TEFL/Special Education Certification

Hello,
I am writing to express my interest in joining your team of educators as a teacher in the-academic year. I am originally from the United States and I am certified in the areas of Elementary Education, Special Education and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have extensive experience and knowledge in English education from my diverse teaching opportunities in the urban Harrisburg City schools (Pennsylvania, USA), rural community school in Chambrun, Haiti as well as private teaching, tutoring and internships.

I am currently completing my Master's Degree in TEFL/TESOL in Tarragona, Spain at Universitat Rovira I Virgili. I am committed to the language learning process, as seen in my ability to speak Haitian Creole and French. I am currently studying Italian and Spanish. My husband is an Italian citizen, and I am currently in the application process to gain my Italian citizenship, via marriage (jure matrimonii). In the meantime, I will have a permesso di soggiorno, granting me the right to work in Italy. After graduating from my Master's programme in June, my husband and I will be moving back to Italy so I am looking for teaching opportunities for the-school year.
