Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners

Ciao! I'm Annarita, a 35 year old Italian teacher from Padua, where I run my own business.

I have a Masters degree and 10 000 hours of experience teaching Italian as a second language, plus Ancient Greek and Latin, in person and online.

I teach adults of all levels from all over the world, both in small groups and in private classes. Furthermore I'm an official CILS and CELI examiner and I prepare students for any kind of exam, including university, admission test, job interview and citizenship.

I tailor lessons to my students' needs and interests, putting them at the center of the learning process. I have a high commitment to my job, so I choose and prepare specific materials in order to make my students reach their goals.

I'm empathetic and very patient and I love my students to feel comfortable and enjoy the class.

I graduated from Padua University in Classics in 2013 and started working a few months later in a private school in Padua as a teacher of Italian as a second language.

After one year I decided to specialize in the field of teaching languages and I obtained a Masters in Advanced Planning for teaching Italian to foreigners with Ca' Foscari University in Venice.
​
I also have a second-level DILS-PG certification and I’m a CILS and CELI examiner.
​
I worked as a contract teacher for the University for Foreigners of Perugia for 2 years and for the European Institute of Design in Milan.
​
I also taught business Italian to Decathlon and UniCredit bank employees.
​
I'm currently running my own business teaching Italian online.
