Hello, my name is Gill and I am from Bath, England. I currently live in Gandia, Valencia, Spain, where I teach English, both privately and in local companies. I have a Cambridge qualification (CELTA)

I graduated from Plymouth University in 1991 where I obtained a 2.1 B.Sc (Hons) in Geographical Sciences. Since 1991, I have worked for many types of companies in a variety of roles, including employee training. I have a lot of business experience, especially in finance, purchasing and warehousing.

My teaching style is relaxed and informal.
I focus on conversational English to develop speaking and listening skills. It is good to have fun in lessons but I will focus on increasing your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and functional language.

Students have many different ways of learning, everyone is different. With this in mind, I create individual lessons to meet the specific needs of each student. Materials used may include verbal exercises, real-world situations, role-playing and simulation of the environment (business, academic, presentations, etc.).

If you have a specific topic you would like to cover, please contact me and I can develop a lesson for you.

Terms and conditions.
1. Minimum 1 hour per week for one month (for evening lessons from 5pm to 9pm).
Minimum 1 session (1 hour or 40 minutes) per week for one month (for morning lessons from 9am to 1pm).

2. I am registered to work on a self-employed basis and will invoice monthly. Fees (invoices) are paid monthly in advance. Payment is made directly into my bank account or via BIZUM.
3. Changes/cancellations of scheduled classes must be made 48 hours in advance.
4. Rescheduled classes must be taken in the same month.
5. No refunds will be given.
