English for adults and University Students with a supportive approach

My passion for teaching has been shaped by extensive experience across secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate education, working with learners from diverse academic, cultural and professional backgrounds. I am highly motivated by supporting students in developing confidence, critical thinking and effective communication skills, whether teaching English language and culture, English for specific disciplines such as Engineering and Medicine, or preparing learners for international examinations. I believe learning should be engaging, inclusive and purposeful, and I take pride in designing curricula and assessment practices that respond to learners’ needs and encourage independence and reflection. Leadership roles have further strengthened my commitment to mentoring both students and colleagues, promoting professional growth and reflective practice. I am particularly committed to inclusive education, SEN provision and the effective use of digital technologies to enhance learning. Above all, I view education as a collaborative process that empowers learners and equips them with the skills necessary for academic, professional and personal success.
