My passion for supporting young learners, combined with my hands-on experience and educational background, makes me an ideal candidate for this role. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at two reputable institutions, beginning with a two-month placement at the British Council, where I supported children aged 4-13. This experience allowed me to develop versatility in working with diverse age groups and learning styles. I then continued my career at Cairo English School, starting in FS2 before transferring to Key Stage 2, which has given me valuable insight into early years development as well as primary education. What I find most rewarding about this role is the opportunity to support children's growth, both mentally and emotionally. I take genuine pleasure in watching students engage with learning, seeing their excitement when concepts click, and knowing that I have contributed to making education an enjoyable experience. Whether I am providing one-to-one support, assisting with group activities, or occasionally taking over classroom responsibilities when needed, I approach each task with enthusiasm and dedication. My degree in English Language and Literature has equipped me with strong literacy skills and a deep appreciation for language development. This academic foundation, combined with my practical classroom experience, enables me to support students effectively across the curriculum. More importantly, my studies have fostered patience, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm and constructive even in challenging or stressful situations; essential qualities when working with young learners.
