Abonyi Immaculata Ezinne Abonyi

My name is Abonyi, Immaculata Ezinne. I am an English and Literary Studies/Education graduate with a deep passion for the English language, literature and education. I grew up in Nsukka, Enugu state/Nigeria, where I developed a love for reading at a young age. This passion inspired me to pursue a degree in English and Literary Studies.

Throughout my academic journey, I have developed several skills that enhance my teaching and analytical abilities. I excel at critically analyzing complex grammar principles, identifying themes and interpreting complex narratives. I possess strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing me to convey ideas effectively to students and engage them meaningfully. In addition to these I can tailor my teaching methods to meet diverse needs of students, ensuring that each learner feels supported and challenged.

Furthermore, I hold various teaching certifications that position me as a qualified educator, fit to teach globally. These include a Bachelor's degree in English and Literary Studies (BA.Ed) from University of Nigeria Nsukka, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate from the Federal Government of Nigeria, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate from TeacherRecord.

I have a wide range of interests that that inform my teaching practice. I am particularly passionate about teaching English as a second language (ESL). Helping students improve their language skills is fulfilling and allows me to share my love for the subject. I am also interested in digital literacy; exploring how the English language is used in digital communication including social media, blogs and online forums. I take pleasure in refining written works. This helps me appreciate the importance of clarity and precision in communication. Finally, I have keen interest in developing public speaking skills. I love helping students engage with audience and effectively communicate ideas. I find this absolutely rewarding.
