I am an Italian native-speaker student, teacher, and translator. I know the Italian language from its literary, functional-linguistic, and grammatical aspects.
I lived in America for a year, studying and working, an experience that allowed me to reach a C1 level of English. I then studied Spanish independently, eventually obtaining a B2 level of language knowledge. I am currently grounding in Portuguese, French, and German languages.
I continue to update myself on the most recent analysis of languages and ways to teach them in the most fun and practical way possible.
My lessons last at least 1.5 hours because they are designed to be adaptable to the attention level of each student: they include breaks and personalized distribution of the explanation and exercise parts.
I use communicative exchanges, audio-visual materials, and explanatory examples taken from real contexts. I stimulate the student to identify connections and examples apt for memorization and understanding, taken from their individual knowledge.
My lessons aim to offer students the opportunity to acknowledge their skills, to be able to independently solve problems in studying the subject, and to regain confidence in their learning abilities. I support understanding topics rather than rote learning because I believe in understanding and hopefully becoming passionate about a subject, which is a much more satisfying and solid way to learn and remember. This method is applied with the same excellent results to all groups of students because everyone has already developed their skills, which only need to be noticed.
Let's start learning!
