I hold a Master’s in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have taught academic writing, ESL (English as a Second Language), and business writing at American and European universities.

The qualifications that I possess for distinction in teaching ESL and critical writing in an academic setting include 16 years of experience as an ESL instructor, Cambridge examiner, British Council teacher, writing consultant, and auditor for an ESL United States government program conducted by Brown University.

I enable my students to build vocabulary not only with words but with idiomatic expressions to sound like a native speaker. I also correct fossilized errors of grammar and pronunciation, as well as individual errors so students can self-correct themselves.

Since my specialty is in writing, I can help you to work on exam preparation or university papers (essays, reports, articles, formal letters, reviews, and business writing). Not only that, I can help you on a professional level with your resume (CVs) and cover letters.

The methodologies I use are the Process Approach, which consists of following step-by-step learning to achieve learning goals, and the Bottom-Up Design, which is centered on a final objective at the beginning of the learning process.
