Alicja Szalkowska

I'm active pianist, piano is all my life. I'm young professional pianist who still learn to be better, thanks to my engagement I have possibility now to teach on Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Catania as an assistant of Proffesor in Daniele Petralia's piano class. :) I won several international piano competitions thanks to my activity in chamber music - like Juliusz Zarebski International Music Competition, which led me to perform on Royal Castle in Warsaw!

I give private piano lessons and I have several years of experience teaching piano classes at the National Primary School of Music in Poland, so I have completed pedagogical studies. I have a master's degree in piano performance frompiamo performance in the Academy of Music in Gdansk, where I had the pleasure of working on a daily basis with top-class professors and I was also selected for many masterclasses taking place at my academy, thanks to which I could cooperate with professors from the best level such as (among others):
Michel Angelo Dalberto (France, Paris), Therese Fahy (Ireland, Dublin), Tamar Zvania (Georgia, Tbilisi), Avedis Kouyoumdijan (Austria, Vienna) and others. Apart from these masterclasses, I graduated lots of international piano courses for years in Poland and in Italy, when I had possibility to work with Proffesors from the best polish academies, but also different countries, I took experience for example from: prof Andrzej Jasinski (prof of Zimerman), prof Hubert Rutkowski (Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg), prof Robert Sobczak or prof Alicja Paleta-Bugaj (Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw), prof. Daniele Petralia (Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini, Catania).
