I focus on building strong rapport and trust from the first minute. By establishing a non-judgemental environment, I encourage students even shy ones to speak freely and view mistakes as growth opportunities , with over five years teaching experience as Native English speaker my methodology for initial lessons with potential students focuses on a student centred, communicative approach designed to foster immediate rapport and demonstrate tangible value within 25–30 minutes. I aim to move away from lecturing, acting as a coach instead of lecture to encourage active student participation.

Content and Methodology
The trial lesson is tailored to the student’s specific goals rather than a generic template. Content focuses on "doing" rather than passive learning, such as a short, high-impact conversational activity or a simulation of real-world scenarios. The structure includes:

Warm-up: Friendly, simple questions to lower anxiety and build rapport.
Active Output: A 15-minute speaking or problem-solving task where the student creates something, immediately identifying areas for improvement.
Feedback/Assessment: I provide immediate, constructive feedback to show my teaching style and expertise.
Goal Mapping: A short discussion linking the lesson to their future objectives.


Dynamics
I foster a low-pressure, high-engagement environment that encourages a "growth mindset," treating mistakes as opportunities. Dynamics are interactive; I use screen-sharing for visual aids, encourage open questioning, and utilize TPR (Total Physical Response) techniques to keep energy high.
The goal of this dynamic is to build a supportive, professional rapport immediately, allowing the potential student to experience a personalized learning environment before committing to regular lessons.
