Teaching and English language have always been the perfect combination for the job I've always wanted to do. Actually, more a mission for life.
I have four years of experience in education and in EFL teaching and I have taught students of several different age, nationalities and grade levels in English grammar, literature and technical language.

For the past several years, I have taught English to young learners (elementary and secondary school) both privately and for the national education system (secondary school), in group and 1:1 lessons. Generally, my students are all Italian mother tongue but I'm currently teaching and had taught in multicultural to Spanish and Chinese students. These in particular have represented a big but interesting teaching challenge and gave me the possibility to use both the languages I studied, to find out new interesting ways of teaching English with a more visual approach and apply different methodologies.
I've also taught English to military personnel of the Italian Aviation System who need linguistic training for the JLFT certification (NATO exam).When teaching in this context, I brought my experience to a different level both for the students' age (adult) and the highly specific language and material used. After the second course, I have felt a strong need to define and qualify my teaching method, and therefore I' have decided to follow the CELTA intensive course. After it, I gained a totally wider perspective on the teaching practice and the importance of an ongoing personal training to achieve the best results for the students and personally, as a teacher who never stops learning and broadening her horizons.

During these years, I have developed several different strategies to capture my students’ attention and share with them my passion for the English language. With my classes, I always focus on the importance of the English sounds and pronunciation, which is considered difficult and strange for Italian students, and give a lot of importance to the continuous practice of the four skills, with the help of authentic, visual and captivating material.
I always aspire to create a fun, engaging learning environment for my students, and I would relish the opportunity to work as a teacher with you!
