Benjamin Beesley

I am Ben, a dedicated full-time online English teacher with 20 years of experience in education. I specialise in supporting young, internationally-minded professionals seeking to enhance their business English for CV optimisation and career advancement. Over my career, I have successfully guided more than 200 students in preparing for exams such as 11 plus, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, and EIKEN, achieving a success rate of over 90%. My approach is tailored to your individual needs and goals, with personalised teaching plans that typically include grammar review to eliminate basic errors, phrasal verbs and idioms for deeper language comprehension, industry-specific vocabulary, and presentation skills. Having lived in both Asia and Europe, I am sensitive to the cultural challenges of learning English, and I am fluent in Japanese and conversational in French, enabling me to provide additional language support if required. Outside of teaching, I am a digital nomad, certified diving instructor, and history enthusiast. I look forward to helping you unlock your English potential.
