I'm an english teacher. I have been teaching for more than 10 years. I tought in many english courses and I Was able to develop my own method, wich is based on guided conversation. I use a lot of material from Internet such as news, music, history, poemas or issues about specif interest of the student. I also follow a grammar book where I choose contents that have to do with the subject given during the class. It is a guided conversation, I always make sure that new vocabulary and structures of the language are learned and practiced. There is no translation during the process of learning, this the maio maio concern when I teach, it is crucial to avoid triangulation; that is to think in the original language before speaking the learned one, that compromises the natural speach.
