I am Carla and I have long experience in teaching and supporting students at any level.
I helped many students with the bachelor and master's thesis.
After earning my Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Culture from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature in Pisa, I obtained my teaching qualification at the Socio-Psycho-Pedagogical Lyceum. Over the past two years, I have gained valuable experience teaching diverse groups of students at various proficiency levels. My current role as an English Teacher at Mogoro and Tiria primary schools, along with leading adult language workshops and providing private lessons, has strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning needs and environments.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating a dynamic, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment where every individual feels heard, valued, and motivated to achieve their full potential. I prioritize fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness through the exploration of literature and language. By incorporating authentic materials and interactive lessons, I strive to make learning engaging, meaningful, and relevant to students' lives. My goal is not only to enhance their language proficiency but also to inspire a lifelong appreciation for literature and intercultural communication.
Additionally, I am a strong advocate for integrating technology into the classroom. I frequently utilize digital tools and resources to enrich my lessons, support differentiated instruction, and ensure students are equipped with the skills they need to navigate an increasingly digital world. This approach enables me to cater to diverse learning styles while preparing students for future academic and professional success.
