Carlotta Omegna

I am a Service and Communication Designer with a recently completed Master’s degree in Service Systems Design at Aalborg University in Denmark, where I focused on innovative, systemic approaches to complex challenges. Having studied and worked in highly international environments across Europe and South America, I have developed full professional fluency in English and a deeply human-centered approach to problem-solving.

During my time at the university’s Service Design Lab, I contributed to multidisciplinary service and communication design initiatives, translating complex challenges into collaborative, user-centric solutions. Prior to this, I spent two years in Digital Communications at VELUX, managing corporate leadership websites, executing lead-nurturing campaigns, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives. Across my academic and professional journey, I have honed a strong skill set in information architecture, usability testing, scenario analysis, and UX/UI design.

Currently, I am seeking to bring my unique blend of systemic thinking and strategic communication to a Service Design or UX Research role, creating meaningful and inclusive experiences.

Alongside my core design career, my passion for clear communication, my international background, and my C1-level English proficiency have drawn me to teaching. I am currently open to providing tailored English lessons. In this role, I apply the exact same user-centered mindset that drives my design work: I focus on understanding individual needs, simplifying complex concepts, and designing customized, engaging learning journeys. Whether adapting teaching materials or structuring an interactive lesson, my ultimate goal is to help students of all ages achieve their specific language goals comfortably and effectively.
