I have been an online Teacher for 8 years. I work one-to-one with students using Teams or Zoom. I have found that the very best teaching/learning combination is in-person intensive classes for at least a couple of weeks, followed by online continuation.

I have a TEFL and TESOL certificate. I would describe my teaching methodology as structured but student-centered. I believe students learn best when lessons follow a clear progression, beginning with modeling and explanation. Within that structure, I incorporate interactive activities to keep students engaged. To improve student performance, I focus on clear lesson structuring, active learning, and actionable feedback. Building supportive teacher-student relationships also boosts motivation and academic achievement.

It's a teaching approach that transforms students from passive learners into active participants, encouraging them to dive deeper, question their understanding, and keep improving.

Examples of student learning is basically the following - Play based learning, Inquiry based learning, project based learning, classroom debate, group learning and game based learning.

It's important to develop lesson plans to help all the different types of learners absorb information in a way that fits their individual needs. You learn best by seeing. you thrive when using charts, diagrams, graphs, flowcharts, and videos. Learning and listening, interacting with text. You excel when taking detailed notes, reading textbooks, and making lists.

Giving feedback and concrete boosts student confidence, builds trust, and accelerates fluency by showing learners exactly how to fix mistakes rather than just pointing them out and encourage them to pursuer with dreams.
