Hello, my name is Cherissa and I live in South Africa.?? I have been teaching English for 5 years in Europe and also online. I am a native speaker and I love engaging with different people, cultures and sharing knowledge of English and my culture.???? Languages are my passion and I can speak ??Afrikaans (native level)?? , ??English (native level)?? and a bit of Russian!!

??My approach is conversational and easy-going in the classroom, I choose relevant topics based on your interests and goals and build a structured lesson around that with new vocabulary, some reading/listening material and then we practice new vocabulary in a structured speaking activity based on real world experiences.??

??I also assist with exam preparation- IELTS and CELPIP. I have had many success stories of students that passed with flying colours all due to practice and understanding the structure of the tests??

??Business English is another one of my main expertise. Especially in areas such as : Corporate English, Interviews, Meetings, Emails and Telephone calls.?????

No matter the area of English- I believe it should always be approached enthusiastically- English lessons shouldn’t be a chore but rather something that you look forward to and where you can express your personality and opinions all while learning the most important language along the way!! ??????
