Chiara Caretta

Based on valuable experiences, I was able to identify the profession of teacher as the right one for me.
I have spent several years abroad from India to Jordan, from France to Germany and these experiences made myself improving, elaborating and changing my vision of ideal teaching. This course of events was considered a duty since I have always been curious and with a passionate interest in cultural diversity.
Two of my strengths are the conviviality, working with people and learning from people, and the commitment to play an active, dynamic role.
Studying at the University, having the chance to participate to different scholarships and being able to work with high exponents of the linguistic field did give me the know-how of effective and efficient teaching.
Last but not least, my purpose of teaching is to try to build with my students the best opportunity they can have in their studying and working life. I have also a win from it: I keep learning and improving myself, growing up with them. This is the best part of the job.
I highly agree with the idea of a student-centred approach. Passion and empathy, together with emotional attachment to a school subject are the keys to the learning process.
