I have been teaching English as a second language for over seven years! I use the full immersion method during lessons, which means that I only speak in English. My goal is to encourage each student to speak as much as possible during lessons. Typically each lesson will contain a grammar or vocabulary objective, which once studied will then be put into practice with speaking activities or games, which help to consolidate the new knowledge. For more advanced level students, I also offer conversation classes. Each conversation class will be based on a theme, with various speaking activities and discussion questions designed to challenge the student and encourage the discovery of new vocabulary. Every student is different and I always try to adapt my lessons to suit individual personalities, interests and learning styles.
