I am a 26 year old Zimbabwean who has been living in Italy for about seven years now. I moved here to pursue my studies and I obtained both my bachelor's and master's degrees here. I actually just graduated recently, so now I'm figuring out what's next for me and a path that I'm curious to explore in the meantime is English teaching. My teaching experience comes from a summer where I spent a week teaching English with Atlas Language School at a summer camp in Lignano, where I taught English to children and teenagers aged 9 to 17. Since it was a summer camp, the lessons were not traditional, I followed a syllabus but used creative methods like interactive games, storytelling, songs, and visual aids to help students engage with the language and have fun while learning. It was a short experience, but one I found incredibly rewarding. I would love to try to teach English, since it was an experience I enjoyed in the past. I believe that language is a powerful tool for connection, and I'd love to help students build these connections through learning English. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of joining your team and supporting your students in their English learning journey.
