I'm from London, England, so I teach British English with an average english accent. I'm a friendly and open teacher, with an approach formed over three years of teaching. I spent 1 year in South Korea teaching English with a focus on vocabulary to a variety of young ages. Then 2 years in Italy with a focus on grammar, vocab and conversation, both online and in person. It is these experiences that have shaped my teaching philosophies and skills, not just in teaching, but in communicating and planning. As well as this work experience I am CELTA certified, a renowned english teaching course run by Cambridge. The course prepared me to plan and teach lessons based on all language skills. That is to say, if you are also looking to improve reading, writing and listening skills as well as speaking, that is something I can confidently offer.
I try my best to make my lessons dynamic, engaging and informative. I listen to and put my students' language goals at the centre of every lesson in order to facilitate improvement. My lessons are interactive and based on a communicative approach. You will learn to speak English with confidence and fluency and I never leave out the importance of pronunciation! I love to give study tips and advice and motivate my students as much as possible!
