Greetings!
Below you will find a brief description of my experience teaching English as well as details regarding my teaching approach and methodology.
I follow a student-centered approach. I conduct lessons that require the student to be active and interact both with the teacher and peers.
The lesson structure typically follows the PPP format—presentation, practice, and production. Moreover, the interests and ability level of the students inform the content, approach, and dynamics of the lessons.
Over my years of teaching, I have taught a variety of course types. The following provide some examples: General English, Academic Writing, Conversation English, English Grammar, English for Physicians, English for Nurses, Business English, English for Tourism Industry, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, General Science, etc.
Furthermore, I have conducted workshops on topics like Effective Presentations, Resume Preparation, Job Interviews, Communication between Patients and Doctors, Nurses, and Other Healthcare Professional, etc.
I try to keep my lessons enjoyable and engaging, and at the same time, informative and productive. I seek to build a good rapport with my students and remain empathetic in regards to their challenges, needs, and goals.
I am a good listener and have great interpersonal skills. In addition, I enjoy travelling, watching and playing football, going for walks and hikes, staying up-to-date on current events, as well as listening to music.
