Hello everyone,
My name is Emma and I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa and spent the last 7.5 years living in the Netherlands. Recently, I have relocated to Cagliari and I am eager to share my expertise of the English Language with you!
I have received 'Teach English as a Foreign Language' certification, and also studied for and received diplomas in 'Copywriting' and 'Narration'.
My teaching methods are creative, and engaging for the student and the teacher.
I focus on teaching Communicative Language Teaching (CLT); Task-Based Learning (TBL); Presentation - Practice - Production (PPP); Lexical Approach; Total Physical Response (TPR); Storytelling + Acting (my personal favourite method) and Flipped Classroom Method.
English is my native tongue, however, I also speak Dutch, Afrikaans and am currently studying Italian.
I hope to be of assistance to many of you! If you have any queries, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss further which lesson plans may work best for you.
