Ciao a tutti,
my name is Federica D’Isita and I am a qualified and passionate teacher of Italian as a foreign language.

I hold a Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) with a specialization in Linguistic Sciences (Italian Grammar), graduating with 110/110 cum laude. I have also obtained both the CEDILS and DITALS certifications, which specifically qualify me to teach Italian to non-native speakers.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals. I usually begin with a warm-up conversation to encourage speaking practice and assess the student’s current abilities. From there, I work on a balanced combination of grammar, vocabulary, and practical exercises. I enjoy integrating cultural elements—such as Italian traditions, music, and short texts—to create engaging and immersive lessons. Each session ends with a brief summary and personalized exercises to reinforce learning at home.
I believe it is essential to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes. Active practice—especially speaking and listening—is key to building confidence. I also connect language learning to real-life situations, so students can immediately apply what they learn in authentic contexts.
Depending on the student’s needs, I use a variety of resources: structured textbooks for grammar, online exercises, videos, podcasts, and authentic materials such as Italian articles, songs, and short stories. I often design custom materials tailored to each student’s interests and pace of learning.

My teaching style is interactive, clear, and engaging. I use simple explanations, visual aids, and practical activities to make learning accessible and effective. My main goal is to encourage students to speak as much as possible, provide constructive and supportive feedback, and adapt both pace and content to their individual needs.

The cost of each lesson is 20 euros per hour.
