I give French lessons at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

For beginner students:
I offer structured lessons based on French textbooks. I combine the theoretical foundations of the language (which are essential) with everyday French usage and real-life situations.
I am a very patient and supportive teacher: I am here to help my students progress, not to judge them.

For advanced students:
I can adapt to your needs and your goals. Whether you need French for work or simply out of love for the language, I will design lessons tailored to your expectations.

If, in addition to the language, you would like to discover French history, culture, society, or politics, I am the right teacher for you. I worked for many years as a journalist and I studied history.

Some information about myself.

I come from Brittany, in the west of France, from a beautiful medieval town called Dinan.

I spent much of my childhood living abroad because of my father’s job. I believe this gave me an open mind and, above all, a strong curiosity for other cultures.

I studied History at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. Afterwards, I worked for ten years as a journalist, serving as a correspondent in Budapest for French and British media.

For sixteen years, I was also a French teacher (French as a foreign language) at Corvinus University of Budapest, where I taught students of all nationalities and backgrounds.

I love reading, having thoughtful conversations, and I am passionate about the social sciences.
