Thank you for your interest in my profile.
I was born in Italy, but spent half of my life in the United Kingdom, where I graduated. That makes me bilingual Italian/English and as I've studied and lived also in Spain several years, I'm also very fluent in Spanish.

My ACADEMIC BACKGROUND is a Bachelor's degree in European Studies with Spanish (International Relations, Political Sciences, Languages, Translation); and then a Master's degree in Human Rights (Social Sciences, Geopolitics, International Law). During my Bachelor's studies I also attended a TESOL course (from the British Council) and obtained the qualification.

My TEACHING EXPERIENCE started in 2018, when I started running a morning summer camp to children aged 6 to 14. There I created fun English lessons and English based games. After that, I was hired by a private language school and broaden my experience, teaching adults (both individually and in groups) from different backgrounds; business English to professionals and inside different company offices; English for logistics; legal English; preparation to job interviews, military English. I also gained experience to prepare students form various exams: TOEFL; Cambridge A2 Key (KET); B1 Preliminary (PET); FCE; CAE; IELTS and also the JFLT for the Joint Forces.

My INTERESTS are: travelling, exploring new cultures, listening to music, cooking and keeping fit. I also like to get involved in volunteering every time I get the opportunity.
I'm also a great listener and have an inquisitive mind, which makes me genuinly interested in any topic that might come up during our conversation lessons.

Maybe you feel your English level is OK but you freeze when you need to speak it. Look at my reviews! I'm particularly good at making you feel at ease during our lessons and help you overcome that SPEAKING anxiety, you thought you'd never get rid of.
If it's GRAMMAR you need, but you've alway hated those long and never-ending grammar lessons, I'm your teacher! I have a way of teaching you the grammar topics in a fun way at the beginning of each lesson; and then put it all in practice straight away within the same lesson.

LA PRIMA LEZIONE É SEMPRE GRATIS
Mi piace avere un approccio libero ed a tema. Cerco di capire le esigenze personali dell'allievo (tramite una prima lezione gratis). Per poi ricucire le lezioni intorno ai gusti ed obiettivi dell'allievo. La chiave é di rendere le lezioni piacevoli e stimolanti adatta ad allievi di qualsiasi etá e livello, in modo da tenere un livello alto di attenzione e massimizzare l'esito delle lezioni.

LA PRIMERA CLASE ES SIEMPRE GRATIS
Me gusta tener un enfoque libre y temático. Trato de entender el tipo de inglés requerido por el estudiante, para luego crear clases a medida y temática. Para mantener las lecciones estimulantes y maximizar su utilidad. La clave es aumentar la posibilidad de reutilización inmediata de los conocimientos adquiridos. Habiendo enseñado en varios niveles y varias fascias de edad tengo competencia tanto para enseñar a niños y adolescentes (donde me comprometo a hacer las lecciones estimulantes para un alto nivel de atención), como para adultos también a nivel empresarial.

THE FIRST LESSON IS ALWAYS FREE
I always try to learn about my student enough to know their strengths and weaknesses in their language learning. That's why I always offer the first lesson free of charge (also to give a chance to show my approach).That way I can then find the right approach to use. One might need more use of L1 (English or Spanish), and another less. More conversation or more grammar. I also try to make every lesson very stimulating, to keep an eye on the motivation, which is crucial.
