Janine Cupido

Janine hails from a sunny town in Johannesburg, South Africa called Bergbron. She obtained her BA in Computer Graphic Design in 2002 and has worked in the Advertising and Marketing industry for over 10 years.

Having ammased all the experience she could in this industry, she reached a pinnacle in her career and after taking a sabatical, decided to move from the corporate sector to pursue another passion of hers, education, more specifically the study of languages.

Following that life altering experience, she decided on a career change, teaching. She obtained her CELTA certification in 2014, then went on to teaching English at a nat,ional integration programme in South Africa to Chinese speakers. Shortly thereafter, she started a teaching position at International House Wordwide and has since worked in the Ukraine, Mexico, Ecuador and Bali. She completed her postgraduate in English language teaching and obtained her DELTA in 2021 and currently resides in Bali.

As an expert teacher, I understand that every learner's needs, goals, learning preferences and/or learning styles are unique and this experience allows me to adapt according to each learner offering bespoke lessons to cater to your needs.

Janine is a travel enthusiast, who enjoys exploring new cultures, cuisine, extreme sports, literature, and architecture in her free time. Being an avid traveller and digital nomad, well-versed on general global topics, she understands cultural sensitivy and is able to adapt to your unique cultural needs.
