Hi everyone,

I'm a Finnish woman based in Italy, and I'm currently seeking for new English students. I'm an anthropologist by education, but I have previously taught English in both China and Italy in a more formal setting. Even though I'm not a native speaker, I have lived abroad for the past seven years using English as my everyday language. Thanks to studying in the UK for four years, I speak and write English at the academic level with no accent.

My teaching is focused on non-formal education. School curriculums have their benefits - and I'm ready to follow them if requested - but I've come to notice that learning through games and conversation can be a lot more powerful tool and give people what they're most often looking for: the confidence to speak foreign language. My classes are focused on improving spoken language skills, whilst providing the necessary tools to fix people's grammar. All classes are tailored based on people's individual needs to provide the best learning outcomes. My goal is to help you to reach your goals!

As I only speak basic Italian, I'm an ideal teacher for those who already know the basics of the language. I got most of my experience teaching intermediate level, but if you're below that I'm glad to help too. Just prepare to work harder as my classes are fully in English!
