My name is Jean Dedieu Katanga, and I am passionate about teaching English in a way that is simple, practical, and engaging. I speak both English and French fluently, which allows me to support students who may be starting from different language backgrounds. With my academic and professional experience in the IT and cybersecurity fields, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and step by step.

My teaching method is focused on interaction and real-life practice. I believe students learn best when they feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and improve gradually. I use a mix of conversations, grammar exercises, role-plays, and personalized materials depending on the student’s level and goals whether it is speaking fluently, improving writing, or preparing for exams and professional interviews.

Each lesson is structured but also dynamic. I like to start with a short warm-up, introduce new vocabulary and grammar, then apply it through practice and conversation. I also encourage students to keep learning outside the classroom by reading short texts, watching videos, or listening to music in English.

I am a patient, supportive, and adaptable teacher who understands that every student has their own rhythm. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, improve their confidence, and achieve visible progress.
