Ciao! My name is Jona, and I am a native Italian speaker originally from Turin, currently living and working in London. Over the past six years, I have dedicated myself to working closely with children and young people in private childcare and educational settings. This extensive hands-on experience sparked my deep fascination with how we learn, communicate, and grow, leading me to pursue and complete my Bachelor's degree in Psychology right here in the United Kingdom.
Currently, I work as a Key Worker in the learning support department of a secondary school in London. In this role, I adapt academic materials daily to match the unique learning styles of various students. My educational journey doesn't stop here; this coming September, I am taking the next big step by beginning my Master's degree in Psychology, with the ultimate goal of becoming a fully qualified psychologist.
My teaching philosophy bridges the gap between education and emotional well-being. I firmly believe that learning—whether it is mastering a native language or building an academic method of study—is heavily connected to confidence. Using my psychology background, I focus on dismantling the "fear factor" and anxiety that students often face when tackling challenging subjects. I love bringing my personal creative passions, such as drawing, writing, and traveling, into my world to keep my perspective fresh and dynamic. My mission is to provide an empowering, stress-free space where you can build lifelong skills and achieve absolute autonomy!
