I recently moved to Rome with my family. My wife, who is originally from Calabria got a Full Professor position at a university here in Rome and we couldn't pass up the opportunity. I have been a self employed business owner since graduating college. Fortunately, my businesses which include restaurants, business consulting and an online retail/wholesale store have allowed me to live in Italy.

While I still have a passive role and part time remote responsibilities, I have a lot of free time to explore other opportunities. I've always enjoyed teaching and consulting, so helping others with english is a pleasure for me. I'm also trying to become fluent in Italian ad I know it's not easy! I'm currently finishing up my TEFL Certification to improve my skills.

I stay very active with mountain biking, jiu-jitsu and going to the gym. I spend a lot of time with my wife and daughter and we're settling in our new neighborhood and meeting new friends. I've noticed that English is in high demand and it's not always easy to find native speakers. Although I don't have a lot of formal classroom experience, I'm an effective teacher because of my communication skills, sensibility and organization. So let's set up a class together and have a good ol' American talk.
