Functional English

Courses are offered at all levels from beginner, basic, intermediate and advanced and concentrate on the usage of the language form basic to advanced level. While guidance is given on grammatical structures and vocabulary building, the emphasis is always on the use of the language, comprehension, speaking, and wider communication skills.

Certified English

For those students who want to support their English Skills with PET or CET accreditation, an individually designed programme can take participants on this key step towards their certification goal.

Karen Freeland is a Freelance English Communications Consultant and Trainer who has been living and working in the Genova area for the last 21 years.

Originally from Northern Ireland where she was a Senior Training and Development Manager working in the Not for Profit Sector, she has a wide experience delivering a range of training and development opportunities both to individuals and to companies in a range of subject areas and with disadvantaged groups and individuals.

As an Honours Graduate in English Language and Literature from the Queen’s University of Belfast, teaching English as a Foreign Language was an obvious choice when making a life changing move to Italy in 2004.

Working online using a range of platforms from Zoom to Meet and also in presence, Karen provides a high quality, responsive training service at reasonable cost.
