I am an experienced and dedicated educator with over four years of teaching experience, working with learners across different age groups, abilities and educational backgrounds. My experience spans teaching English Language" grammar,writing, spelling and speaking/ phonics" supporting young learners in developing strong academic foundations, confidence and independent learning skills. I have worked with both fast and slow learners, including children from non-English-speaking backgrounds, adapting my approach to meet their individual learning needs.
My core skills include lesson planning, classroom management, curriculum delivery, phonics instruction, literacy development, grammar, reading comprehension, handwriting development, numeracy and problem-solving. I am also skilled in learner assessment, identifying learning gaps, providing constructive feedback and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
My communication, creativity, patience, teamwork and time-management skills enable me to build meaningful relationships with learners and support their academic growth.
My teaching methods are learner-centred, interactive and activity-based. I use demonstrations, guided practice, questioning, storytelling, educational games, visual aids, group discussions and practical exercises to make lessons engaging and easy to understand. I introduce new concepts by connecting them to learners' previous knowledge, breaking complex topics into manageable steps and encouraging active participation. I also differentiate instruction to accommodate varying abilities and learning paces.
