Linda Zauner

Ciao! I'm Linda, an Italian tutor with a passion for helping people connect with the language and culture I love.

My path here wasn't a straight line - I hold a bachelor's degree in Set Design, and that creative background still shapes how I teach today: I love finding visual, hands-on ways to make lessons come alive. Over the past 5 years, I've taught Italian to individuals and groups, online and in person, working with students of all ages - from curious kids to adults and seniors. I started my teaching journey at the Hamko School in the Czech Republic, and since then I've built a teaching style rooted in flexibility and genuine connection.

How I teach.
Every student is different, so my lessons are too. Depending on your goals, we can focus on:

Structured lessons with grammar and exercises to build a strong foundation
Conversational classes to help you speak with confidence
A pace and style adapted to your level and preferences
Exam preparation, if you're working toward a language certification
For younger learners: songs, games, and hands-on activities that make learning fun.

When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me in the garden, in the kitchen making fresh pasta and other Italian classics, or lost in a good book or a painting. I'm also into sewing and photography - I'm a curious, hands-on person, and I try to bring that same energy and enthusiasm into every lesson.
