I have taught Italian language and culture at university level in the UK for over twenty years, including 15 years at the University of York, both on the Italian Language and Culture degree course and at the university’s language centre (Languages for All), which I also managed for a period as deputy director. Having returned to Italy in 2024, I teach on a part-time basis. I am an expert in the CLIL method and have experience in designing, developing and teaching Italian language and culture courses at all proficiency levels, as well as language courses for specific purposes (for example, ‘Italian for Musicians’).
