Marcos Javier Demichelis

HI! I am Marcos Javier Demichelis, a language and culture enthusiast, born and raised in Argentina. My life has been a journey through different lands, which have enriched me culturally and linguistically. After spending time in the United States, Germany, and now Italy, I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in various language communities and experience the diversity of the world.

My academic training is focused on the study of languages. I have a degree in Spanish as a First and Second Language and have extensive experience teaching English at beginning and intermediate levels. My passion for teaching is based on the idea that learning is a collaborative process, in which both the student and the teacher actively contribute. My main goal is to guide students towards the acquisition of new words and linguistic structures, personalizing teaching based on their interests and needs.

Languages are for me an infinite source of fascination and discovery. I find them everywhere, in the sounds of the streets of a new city, in the tastes of traditional food and in the traditions of a people. It is through language learning that we can truly immerse ourselves in cultures around the world and fully understand the richness and diversity of our planet.

My experience as a beginner Spanish teaching assistant in the United States has allowed me to hone my pedagogical skills and better understand the challenges and needs of students early in their language journey. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment, where students feel encouraged to explore and make mistakes, which are fundamental to the language learning process. I am convinced that through constant practice and curiosity one can achieve mastery of languages and open up to a world of opportunities and intercultural connections.
