Mariano Alfonso

My name is Mariano Alfonso, I’m 33 years old, from Argentina, and I live in Buenos Aires, CABA. I've been studying the English language for over 20 years and continue to refine my skills every day. My parents decided that I should learn English when I was about 8 years old, and it has been a fundamental part of my life ever since.

I love teaching and consider education to be a key factor in inspiring others. I firmly believe that teaching is one of the most effective tools to end conflict and inequality in the world, and I’m deeply motivated to contribute to this cause.

I’ve been working as a teacher since 2016 and have had many students from various countries and cultures, from whom I've also learned a lot. I have helped those preparing for international exams, improving their skills for work, and those seeking fluency for travel.

My classes focus on practicing and perfecting oral expression, using resources such as guided conversations, article readings, and video analysis, making learning as applicable as possible to real life. I strive to make the classes dynamic and tailored to each student’s interests and needs.

I’m a simple, fun, and committed person. I greatly value my students and their time. I work hard to help them reach their goals, applying everything I’ve learned in my teaching training and the numerous classes with students from around the world.
