Mariyam Farooqi

Mariyam Farooqi D/o Nazhat Bano and Mohammad Irfan. As part of my academic background, I have completed a Bachelor of Vocational Course in Food Science and Technology at DAV College, affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. I graduated with a Diploma and got certified as bakery technician with the rank of top 3 students in the college in 2019 after completing my senior secondary school with 75% in medical stream. Then I completed my summer 2019 internship at verka Dairy plant India in Food Quality Analysis department. I currently competed my graduate studies in Bachelors of Food Engineering in Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Hungary with the upcoming graduation in January 2023. During my bachelors program, I have taken a set of highly professional courses like subjects i.e. Food Chemistry ,Food Analytics ,Food Quality Assurance ,Food testing Methods, Nutrition etc that have provided me with innovative and practical skills, which also provided me with extraordinary experiences in food industry that motivated to complete them with excellent grades(scored 5 out of 5 Grades) . I did my internship in NÉBIH Analytical National Referent as a Food quality and Lab practitioner. I have experience in the baking as I love to bake. I did part work in kfc for one year and also as a receptionist in an Indian restaurant. In addition to my academic background, I have dedicated my time to extra curriculum activities while studying, from which I have attended a number of volunteer programs during this degree. I was also part of a NCC (National Cadet Cops INDIA) camp for Blood donation, Swatch Bharat scheme (Clean and Healthy INDIA project) and many other social practices that lead me to grow the qualities like Leadership, Empathy and Team work that always helps me to solve complex problems in reaching out to my personal and professional goals and targets. I was also nominated for the stipendium award this year through my university.
