Mashal Ahmad

My name is Mashal Ahmad, and I was born on April in Peshawar, Pakistan, as the second youngest of four brothers. I am a nature loving person and have always been fascinated by the intricate biological mechanisms that govern life. From an early age, I developed a keen interest in the molecular foundations of living organisms and their genetic makeup, which led me to pursue a career in biological sciences. To deepen my understanding, I completed my bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Malakand, one of the top universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ranking among the top universities in Asia. I secured a CGPA of 3.37 out of 4.00. My undergraduate research focused on the "clinical and molecular analysis of OCA2 gene mutations as causative factors for autosomal recessive albinism type II." This project allowed me to explore the molecular basis of genetic disorders and sparked my passion for cell and molecular biology.
As a zoologist and surgical technician, I bring a unique combination of expertise in biology and surgical assistance, backed by hands on experience in various surgical procedures and medical equipment handling. My background includes working in operating rooms, assisting in complex surgeries, and maintaining a sterile surgical environment, ensuring precision and patient safety.
