Mauro Baglieri

I am bilingual, English-Italian. My father was a WW2 veteran who fought in the U.S. Army. I also went to England for a long time in the 90s-early 2000s. I am certified as C2 (CPE, Cambridge, TOEFL, Princeton), which was the requisite for being admitted to the Inlingua Method Teacher Training Course of September 2019.

Since then I was also trained to teach online for a famous military school, Nissolino Corsi. I worked with them for almost two years (Jan. 2020-Sept. 2021). This company with centers all over the country prepares military trainees for their tests. It is also an important certification syndicate for languages (London Chamber of Commerce) and IT. My skills range from web design, professional blogging and social media marketing, so teaching on line was an interesting experience.

I believe there is added value in hiring a trained professional who is not looking for another language teacher job but one for whom language teaching is a lifetime mission and vocation. I worked on and created educational and language projects on the web. I am also a web designer and trained in many fields from economics to physics, science, computers (science high school, 5 years).

To sum up my values:

1. Dedication – teaching is not just a job but a mission to my students and the company I work for.
2. Motivation – I am very interested in ESL and work on it even in my free time.
3. Inclusiveness – My class participate actively in the lesson. They are not just listeners.
4. Working toward goals – I do not “work hours”. I work for results and the students satisfaction.
5. Multiple areas of expertise – I have a sound scientific, technical and business background.
