Mia Walsh

Hi, I’m Mia, a native English speaker from Ireland with a background in fashion design, creative education and tutoring.

I’ve spent the past few years working with learners of different ages and abilities, teaching fashion design to children and adults. Through this experience, I’ve learned how to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different learning needs and create a positive environment where people feel comfortable trying something new.

Now, I’m bringing that experience to English conversation tutoring!

What are my lessons like?

I’m a creative person, and I believe learning works best when it feels engaging and relevant to you. Rather than having every conversation follow the same formula, I’d like to get to know your goals and interests and use them to guide our lessons.

My approach is friendly, patient and adaptable. You don’t need perfect English to start, and you don’t need to be afraid of making mistakes. We can take things at your own pace, practise expressing your ideas and work towards feeling more comfortable speaking English.
