I have 27 years experience teaching and translating and 8 years of university experience which I obtained while living in Italy. My main interest is advanced levels starting with B2 and Cambridge exam preparation and university exams. My lessons usually focus on communicational skills as I consider this to be one of the most important and difficult skills to master in any language. Apart from teaching, I also prepare people for interviews and presentations that are required when applying to an international company during these lessons I give more focus on pronunciation, which I consider could make or break an interview. Conversational lessons can be arranged, however, depending on the students' need and level usually I request that the student already has a reasonable working knowledge of the language before starting. Although, if the student is of a lower level but is able to communicate without many difficulties then I would consider it.
My other skills apart from teaching is translating from Italian to English and proofreading. I have gained years of experience proofreading medical documents for publications, these include medical research papers, please note that I do not use AI when doing my work because I feel that human knowledge on a given subject is more reliable than computer based.
