Hi! My name is Nikola. I’m originally from Warsaw, Poland, but currently living in Italy.
I am pursuing an International Master’s degree in Engineering of Historic Buildings Rehabilitation at the University of Bologna. Before that, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in English at the Warsaw University of Technology. I also had the opportunity to study in Ireland at SETU Waterford as part of the Erasmus exchange programme.
Outside of academics, I’m passionate about art, books, and singing. I also love traveling – last year I visited 10 new countries, and this year I’m aiming for a new record!
My Bachelor’s degree certifies my English proficiency, as I graduated from an international programme delivered entirely in English. In addition, working in a language school and participating in teaching workshops have equipped me with the skills to conduct lessons professionally and effectively.
I have been teaching English and Math since 2020. During this time, I have worked both 1-on-1 with students and as a lecturer for a group of 12 learners in a private language school. This experience has helped me adapt my teaching style to different needs and learning dynamics. I teach kids, teenagers and adult, the age doesn't matter!
As a person with dyslexia, I also understand the challenges it brings in learning a foreign language. Thanks to my own experience, I know how to support students facing similar difficulties and make lessons more accessible and motivating.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with my students. Let's talk soon !
