Picture this: our first lesson, and instead of opening a textbook, I ask you what you watched last week.
That’s how it usually starts. Because your interests are the best material we have. If you’re into tech, we read about tech in English. If you follow football, we talk football. If you love travelling, we plan a trip in English. The language becomes a tool for something you already care about...

That’s how it usually starts. Because your interests are the best material we have. If you’re into tech, we read about tech in English. If you follow football, we talk football. If you love travelling, we plan a trip in English. The language becomes a tool for something you already care about, not the point itself.
In practice this means every lesson looks a bit different. Sometimes we watch a short clip and pull apart how native speakers actually talk, the expressions, the rhythm, the things no textbook ever teaches you. Sometimes we read something current and discuss it. Sometimes we just talk, and I help you say what you’re trying to say more naturally.
That said, if you have a specific exam coming up or need to follow a particular structure, we do that too. Sometimes you just have to get through the grammar exercises and there’s no way around it. That’s fine, it’s part of the process. We work with what your situation actually requires.
I correct you, but not after every sentence. That kills the flow. I note what comes up and we work on it when it makes sense.
I won’t pretend lessons are always easy. There are moments where something just clicks, and moments where the same thing refuses to stick. That’s normal. I’ve been there. I learned English as an adult, and I speak four other languages besides my mother tongue. I know exactly where the frustration comes from and how to get past it.
What you can expect from me: preparation, honesty, and lessons that don’t feel like a chore.
What I’ll expect from you: curiosity, and showing up.
If that sounds good, let’s have a chat first. No commitment, just to see if we’re a good fit.
