I fell in love with teaching when I was volunteering in a French school and I had the chance to give creative English lessons to the teenage students and to an adult group. When I moved back to Hungary teaching became my profession because I started working for a language school, giving English, Hungarian, and French lessons to groups and individual students. Now I am living in Bologna, and while I am working for a local language school, I am teaching online as well because I like the flexibility it gives me. And, of course, I can get to know some very interesting people from all over the world.
My lessons are generally very communicative – I like to create a friendly atmosphere and build a good relationship with my students. This, however, doesn't mean that I won’t give you enough space for speaking: on the contrary, I usually try to stay in the background and correct you only when necessary, especially if your goal is improving fluency. As a teacher I prefer to be a guide instead of simply giving you the answers. From experience I know that real learning happens when you figure things out for yourself, and not when you are passively listening to your teacher:)
Apart from improving communication, I also have countless material for clarifying grammar structures, and practice the other important skills necessary to master a foreign language: listening, reading, and writing. I can also give you extra practice material and personalised tips for improving your English outside of the classroom.
