And yet, from the very beginning, I knew how crucial connection is for a successful lesson. It's not enough to prepare material and give homework. A real teacher asks questions, then cares enough to listen to the response. A real teacher follows up on a student's progress, and makes sure they are constantly challenged.
I want my students to succeed. I want you to walk away from lessons feeling confident that you are moving in the direction of your goals.
