Phoebe Milana Pafumi

I am extremely excited to be applying for the remote English Tutor role. From growing up in an Australian - Sicilian family and household, I have extensive knowledge of both Italian/ Sicilian and Australian (British) English culture, hence believe I would be a perfect fit for this role as I know first hand how important both languages are to connect Italy or Sicily to other nations, globally.

I am an extremely international, hard - working, passionate and well-spoken individual with fluent English (mother- tongue) and basic Italian Skills as I am currently attending classes every day at the Universita Per Stranieri Di Perugia to acquire my Diploma in the Italian language. My English knowledge enables me to connect with individuals from all over the world and I have utilised these exceptionally strong communication skills to my advantage, allowing me to work overseas in Denmark and Asia at such a young age.

I am continuing to broaden my communication skills through my degree where I am majoring in professional communication at the Queensland University of Technology (external student) - I am in my final year of a three year degree. Thus, I know I am very competent at organising lesson plans, communicating clearly and interacting with clients/students in this position.

Additionally, my experience as an administrative assistant as a reputable law firm in Brisbane, Australia has taught me how to work in a structured workplace environment which was both remote and office- based. Thus, I know the remote aspect of this job is something I am very capable of. Through my numerous customer service roles, I know how to make a welcoming environment to ensure clients feel at ease at all times and to also be satisfied with their experience with my skills I bring to each job.
