Hello there, I am Prathiba and I am interested to teach English on this platform. Since my childhood, I had one certainty, it is my love for English language. Mathematics troubled me, and English was my comfort space. After that I ventured on to take English Language and Literature for my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. I have teaching experience during volunteering, where I was teaching basic communication skills to women's organisation run by the state government. How I oriented my teaching lessons were to include a bunch of activities to study the grammar part especially, because along with voracious reading, you need to practice the language to thrive at it. Then after my master's degree I worked for a company, where I was creating syllabuses for communication in English and for exams like IELTS, to make CVs and cover letters. It was content creation and a tutor job. I am familiar with charting out syllabuses for lessons, and to make it as interactive as possible, this is my method, as I feel one person dictating for the entire duration results in students enjoying and imbibing much less. Also, another way in teaching a language is to only speak in the language that is being taught, and that is something I will follow in the classes here.
